Maienfeld Scheurebe Graubünden AOC 75 cl
Scheurebe Graubünden AOC from Komminoth Weine presents this rare grape variety in a precise alpine interpretation from the Bündner Herrschaft. Shaped by calcareous soils, warm Foehn winds and cool nights, it gives rise to a white wine with clear fruit, lively structure and aromatic expressiveness. Ageing in stainless steel preserves the freshness and highlights the varietally typical style of this distinctive grape variety.
Producer: Komminoth Weine, Maienfeld
Since 1980, the Komminoth family has cultivated its own vineyards in Maienfeld and today ranks among the defining estates of the Bündner Herrschaft. Across around 4.6 hectares, wines of clear origin and individual signature are produced. The combination of calcareous soils, the influence of the Foehn and marked temperature differences between day and night allows for precise aromatic development and stable structure. Paul Komminoth deliberately vinifies his vineyard sites separately and pursues the goal of producing characterful wines with ageing potential that reflect both the vintage and their origin.
