The Cabernet Franc infused by Earth by Eikendal Vineyards is a red wine of remarkable depth and character from the South African wine region of Stellenbosch. Made from 100% Cabernet Franc, aged 12 months in oak barrels – a wine that captivates with elegance, complexity and a distinctly expressed terroir character.

Since 1981, the winery Eikendal Vineyards, located a few kilometres outside of Stellenbosch, has been owned by the Swiss Saager family. The climatic conditions with the nearby Atlantic Ocean and the terroir are first-class. Sufficient organic matter and minerals in the soils at the foot of the Helderberg allow the vines to thrive and produce full-bodied, powerful but also multi-faceted and supple wines. Careful handling of the harvest and separate vinification of the individual plots are at the forefront of winemaking. Between 250,000 and 300,000 bottles of wine leave the 76-hectare estate every year.
