Producer: Cantina del Ciabot, Farigliano

Cantina del Ciabot looks back on more than 125 years of history – in 1896, Giovanni, the founding father of the winery, purchased the first vineyard. Today, the 5th generation is already working at the estate. The cantina is located in Farigliano, 18 km south of Barolo. The vineyards extend from the Dogliani area to Roero. The estate cultivates a wide variety of both traditional and international grape varieties. Over the years, this led to the idea of trying new wine creations.

With its Super Piedmontese wines, inspired by the Super Tuscans, Cantina del Ciabot is taking new paths. The winery aims to set modern standards for the region and unite the special qualities of local vines with international classics. The family’s goal is to follow cultural and oenological change and transfer it into the Piedmontese wine world.
