Cabernet Sauvignon Baja California 75 cl
The Cabernet Sauvignon Baja California by Vinicola L.A. Cetto is a characterful red wine from the Valle de Guadalupe on Mexico's Baja California peninsula. Fruit-forward, fleshy and spicy, this wine impressively represents Mexico's emerging wine culture. With its clear style and attractive price, it is an ideal choice for lovers of expressive red wines.
Producer: Vinicola L.A. Cetto
Vinicola L.A. Cetto is one of the oldest and today also one of the largest and leading wine producers in the country. Don Angelo Cetto came to Baja California in 1926 as an Italian immigrant from Veneto (Italy). Coming from a family with a long tradition of winemaking, he conscientiously applied his knowledge to building this winery, unique in Mexico. In 1957, Vinicola L.A. Cetto was finally founded, dedicated exclusively to modern quality wines. L.A. Cetto played a decisive role in the development of modern viticulture in Mexico and, with around 1,200 hectares in Baja California, is one of the largest producers. Hugh Johnson, author of the legendary Wine Atlas, praised this winery, placing it at the top of Mexico's quality wine producers. Today, the winery is run by the third generation of the Cetto family, Luis Alberto Cetto, who is actively committed to the further development of Mexico as a wine-producing country.
The Valle de Guadalupe in Baja California is considered Mexico's most important wine-growing region. The Mediterranean climate with warm summers, cool sea breezes and granite-rich soils creates ideal conditions for producing concentrated, characterful wines with internationally recognised quality.
