Bolgheri Superiore DOC 300 cl
Bolgheri Superiore DOC from Castello di Bolgheri in double magnum (3 l), presented in its original wooden case, stands for a structured yet elegant interpretation of the appellation. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot comes from the characteristic vineyards around Castagneto Carducci and clearly expresses the typicity of Tuscany’s coastal region. The large-format bottle supports slow and even maturation, giving the wine additional balance and depth.
Producer: Castello di Bolgheri
The approximately 60 hectares of vineyards belonging to Castello di Bolgheri lie in the immediate vicinity of the historic Castello in Castagneto Carducci. Under the direction of Federico Zileri and in collaboration with oenologist Alessandro Dondi, wines of clear origin and precise style are produced here. The vineyards border renowned estates such as Tenuta dell’Ornellaia, San Guido (Sassicaia) and Guado al Tasso. The wines are bottled only in suitable vintages – a consistent commitment to quality that defines the identity of the estate.
